Third Year Towards BFA
I am currently studying Fine Art with the goal of completing the BFA program with Emily Carr Institute at NIC in 2010. If you have any questions about my work, feel free to contact me.
This Summer?
Well, there is a printmaking session in May and June. And home baking, research, art making, volunteering, ditching a few pounds, gardening, two family visits...oh, and let's not forget...the oh so important...toilet bowl swabbing.
New Explorations
The following prints were made during a spring printmaking extension at NIC.
Rather than wiping ink from the etched plate, as is usual, salt (and occasionally grass) was placed on the plate and a print was taken from the plate. As well, the plate was sometimes run through the press a second time without re-inking. Each run through the press is therefore unique.
